Where are you from?

Ok, so we could sit here and look through everyones profile I guess, but it isnt as much fun as asking is it. So where is everyne from? I'm on the East Coast of England in the county of Norfolk. Very flat here, the town I live in isn't a bad place. The town centre is being redeveloped so thats exciting, bringing in new retailers etc. It's quite an historical town and often you get tourists visiting, although we take it for granted to be honest and don't really appreciate that....soooo come on, spill :)

Well most probably already know, but I am from Toronto Canada. It is a very cool city and very multicultural with every nationality living here. As a matter of fact I am going to "Taste of Italy" tomorrow. They close off some streets and have lots of music and food and stuff.

Toronto also has the tallest free standing structure in the world-the C.N. Tower. It has a revolving restaurant and the observation deck has a glass floor which is pretty scary to stand on. They are in the process of making the elevators all glass and lately at night it is lit up with cool colored lights.

We also have one of the best childrens hospitals in the world and often take children from all over the world to help like siamese twins or weird deformities.

And lastly, we have a great science center, amazing museum (The ROM or Royal Ontario Museum) and my favorite Toronto zoo which is fabulous as well. :)

I'm from Toronto as well...what I like about Toronto is the patio culture...there are SO many ethnicities and mixtures of people that it makes for great people watching...tons of eye candy for everyone...and yeah there's a museum and other stuff but I'm all for the diverse watering holes that Toronto has to offer...;)

Well, I have to be honest. I'm NOT from Zimbabwe as my profile states. I just really like that country's name. I'm from Toronto too, but I haven't lived there for a long time. I visit once in a while, but for five years I've been living in Shanghai, China, teaching English...

So... if you want to know why the English level of China has been on a steady decline for the last five years....

TADA!

i'm from Pittsburgh PA. home of the champion Steelers and Penguins. The fans went nuts this year - 2 victory parades - superbowl and stanley cup. I work very close to the city. Go there alot since that is where the HQ is at. They wanted to have an office down there but a bit too stuffy in the HQ. Nobody breathes or talks. I got to laugh

Hola - I be born and bred in Ottawa Ontario. I'm pagan by religion (Cherokee - I have been in a couple Voo Doo rits, mostly as a dancer and observer).

Toronto also has many low bridges, where I lost the lights off my moving truck, when I was doing a job. I hate Toronto for that :)

Ottawa be a government town, but it does have a few good tourist sites/museums/clubs.
